Floor Strip and Wax Care, Power Washing and Other Services

Strip & Wax

There are many types of linoleum, vinyl and tile flooring so first a careful evaluation of your floor is done. Then a recommendation can be made on the best process to bring your floor back to its original luster. The most common steps are:

  • Total strip of all old wax from the floor.
  • Deeply wet scrub the floor with a machine scrubber.
  • Rinse and dry.
  • Recoat the floor with the appropriate finishing material for the specific type of flooring. The number of coats will vary depending.
  • High-speed buffing can be done to return the original shine.

  • High-speed buffing to enhance the luster and adding another two layers of wax will make floors look new again.

There is a science to proper floor maintenance. If not done correctly, peeling and bubbles can occur, leaving your floor looking horrible. If not maintained properly, your VCT flooring will wear and scratch quickly. If left unmaintained after some time you might need to have a complete strip and rewax costing you more money. Carpet Cleaning

  • We use a process called Encapsulation Carpet Cleaning. The carpet is scrubbed with a rotary machine or a cylindrical brush machine. As the carpet is scrubbed, the soil that was attached to the fiber is released from the carpet fiber into the encapsulation solution. After the carpet dries, the encapsulated soil can be extracted from the carpet during the post-vacuuming process.
  • The pre-treatment solution will be sprayed on heavily soiled traffic lanes and spots to improve soil and spot removal effectiveness. This machine uses a fraction of the water used by traditional extraction units, which minimizes drying time to a matter of an hour or two rather than days. This leaves no chance for that musty odor to develop which sometimes follows traditional extraction cleaning service.
  • Encapsulation carpet cleaning uses environmentally friendly cleaning products so you don't have to worry about being left with a harsh chemical smell, skin reactions, or danger to small children or pets.
